In some cases, data preparation even removes members of the research team from their actual jobs. The time devoted to work analysis and research testing is encroached on by the act of ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of information. In fact, the activity can sometimes detract from the research itself. Data preparation consumes much of a methodologist’s time (Glaser, 2009). ![]()
